The Art of Motherhood

The Borders Family / Celebrating her marriage of 10 years, her first born graduating highschool and her youngest beginning kindergarten.

Aurora / We honoured the sacred waters within her womb, beneath the full moon lunar eclipse in Pisces; a water sign of deep wisdom, mystical intuition, and gentle surrender. As we transition from Summer to Autumn, this liminal portal acted as a mirror, reflecting her shift from maiden to mother during the season of great release and transformation. 🍂🔥 She immersed into stillness, as a ceremonial ode to her Becoming, cradled by the ancient, living waters of the Appalachian mountains. With her full belly, a living alter of mystery and creation, the river held her in reverence, as these two souls were suspended as one.
